Junior High School in the USA

Like most students, we go to school in a traditional yellow school bus.
In the morning, when the students arrive at school, they see their
"homeroom teacher", The homeroom teacher takes attendance and makes announcements.
In some schools, you say The Pledge of Allegiance in homeroom. You stand and put your right hand over your heart to say it.

T-shirts

The firts T-shirt
The first T-shirts were cotton undershirts given to American sailors
in 1913 to hide their "shocking" chest hair. At the same time, US soldiers
in Europe discovered cotton undershirts. The soldiers preferred these to the
wool undershirts, wich were part of their uniform.
Future T-shirt fashions
At the moment, the fashion is to personalize your T-shirt. There are lots of web sites,
like
http://www.shirtcity.es or http://www.spreadshirt.es, where you can make a T-shirt will be fashionable next. But we can be sure of one thing. The T-shirt is here to stay - we'll all get
up in the morning and put on a T-shirt!

Chocolate

Not all chocolate is bad for you. Kuna Indians in Central Ameria
drink about 40 cups of cocoa every week... and they are very healthy.
Compounds in cocoa protect them from disease. But, bad news for
chocolate lovers... these compounds are removed from the chocolat that we
eat.
